Automatic Google Workspace configuration
If you prefer manual configuration, follow the manual installation procedure:Configure email flow in Google Workspace Admin Console manually 1. Download the installer app You can download the installer app here: EasyFooter.Installer.exe 2. Run the installer On the first screen you’ll be able to choose, if you want to install or remove EasyFooter cloud for your Google Workspace. 3. Choose region Choose your geographical region(also displayed on the EasyFooter portal/Configuration screen) 4. Start installation EasyFooter installer will ask you to log-in to your Google Workspace admin account. How to configure the email flow in Google Workspace Admin Console

Access Google Workspace Admin console Access the Google Workspace Admin console Make sure you log in with your Google Workspace Super Admin credentials. 2. Create Host Host is used by a compliance rule to route your emails to EasyFooter cloud for processing. On the left side menu, select Apps then Google Workspace and Gmail From the list of all Gmail settings, expand Hosts Click ADD ROUTE The Add mail route window is displayed. Available region codes: eu Europe us United States (also displayed on the EasyFooter portal/Configuration/EasyFooter SMTP Server Address) You can also find this value in your EasyFooter portal settings. EasyFooter Google Drive notifications not received
Scenario After configuring EasyFooter cloud, you find that Google Drive share emails are not being received. Resolution In order to ensure that these email messages are delivered correctly, it is necessary to stop them from getting routed to EasyFooter cloud. To do this, please follow the steps outlined below: 1. Access Google Workspace Admin console Access the Google Workspace Admin console and make sure you log in with your Google Workspace Super Admin credentials. 2. Access compliance settings From the Google Admin console, click Apps, then click Google Workspace, then click Gmail. Click Compliance 3. Edit ‘Route to EasyFooter’ Compliance rule On the Compliance screen in Content compliance section you should see ‘Route to EasyFooter’ rule, configured during the initial EasyFooter setup. How to update the Sender Policy Framework (SPF)
Description If you have configured the server-side footer, it is important to update the Sender Policy Framework (SPF) DNS record for the domain from which you send emails. If you don’t do this, there is a risk that any emails that are routed from EasyFooter cloud back to your email service can be marked as spam by recipients. What is SPF Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is a protocol that prevents spammers from sending emails with forged ‘From’ addresses from your domain. An SPF record is a type of TXT record that identifies any mail servers permitted to send emails on behalf of your domain; they are also known as Reverse MX records. Domain administrators publish SPF records in the Domain Name System (DNS) This helps the servers that get the emails to check if they really came from your domain.
