EasyFooter Google Drive notifications not received
Scenario
After configuring EasyFooter cloud, you find that Google Drive share emails are not being received.
Resolution
In order to ensure that these email messages are delivered correctly, it is necessary to stop them from getting routed to EasyFooter cloud.
To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:
1. Access Google Workspace Admin console
Access the Google Workspace Admin console and make sure you log in with your Google Workspace Super Admin credentials.
2. Access compliance settings
From the Google Admin console, click Apps, then click Google Workspace, then click Gmail.
Click Compliance
3. Edit ‘Route to EasyFooter’ Compliance rule
On the Compliance screen in Content compliance section you should see ‘Route to EasyFooter’ rule, configured during the initial EasyFooter setup.
This rule is responsible for sending email messages to EasyFooter cloud, so it can add professional email signatures to them.
Click Edit on the ‘Route to EasyFooter’ rule.
The Edit setting window is displayed.
In point 2, from the drop-down list, select If ALL of the following match the message:
4. Add expression to skip @google.com notification emails
Click ADD and specify following settings:
- From the drop-down menu, select Advanced content match.
- From the Location drop-down menu, select Sender header.
- From the Match type drop-down menu, select Not contains text.
- In Content, enter drive-shares-dm-noreply@google.com -or- @google.com
Click SAVE to save the new expression.
Click SAVE to save the ‘Route to EasyFooter’ content compliance rule.
